Reviews of Panasonic DECT 6.0 Expandable Cordless Phone with Answering Machine and Smart Call Block - 2 Cordless Handsets - KX-TGD532W (White)

A great choice for all the features.
Our old cordless phone bit the dust after 5 years, and I'm kind of glad it did. This model is so much nicer. We have the same convenience being cordless with 2 handsets, but the voicemail feature is what I like best. The caller ID attempts to call out the caller's name (doesn't always get it right, like a GPS- but that's okay,
it's sometimes humorous), then if you don't pick up, the voicemail starts and you can hear the message. Like the old answering machines, right? I miss that, I used to have that years ago. I really dislike dialing in through our phone system to access voicemail. Now, I can hear who's calling and screen the call without interrupting my work. The buttons on the charging station allow easy access to messages, too.
Another feature that is an upgrade over our old phone: you can store so many more phone numbers, at least 196. It will be hard to max out this directory.
A landline is a must in our rural area, the cell service is spotty in the house. So this cordless phone set is perfect for us around the house, out in the garden and the garage.

Setup was fairly easy for her and I was able to talk her ...
I purchased this for my Mom, it's her first ever cordless phone and she is not tech savvy. She loves the phone, especially the block caller button. She LOVES that feature. Setup was fairly easy for her and I was able to talk her through how to use other special features over the phone (we live in separate states). The caller ID display and buttons are easy for her to see and she hasn't had any complaints with the ringer volume. I can hear her clearly when we talk, she says I'm clear on her end too. When she puts me on speaker to say hi to her neighbor, I can't even tell that I'm really on it - super clear. It's been a month and so far no issues with it. She loves her new cordless freedom. Now if I can only talk her into getting a Smartphone
