What can you say about a cordless phone? They work well. I like the fact that they use rechargeable AAA batteries so they can be easily replaced when the included batteries go bad. The included batteries are the high quality eneloop from Panasonic.
I also like the phone announces who is calling, and even warns you if the number you are calling was one ring only, which is likely SPAM.
I also got these for $20 off so that was a no brainer.

ATT has been charging my elderly mother close to $90/mo for VoIP "landline" service on top of her TV and Internet service. My mother also has a cell phone, but has been reluctant to cut the "landline" cord, because she didn't want to have to carry her phone around the house. I wish I had found this system sooner. It works amazingly well with her cellphone to mimic a landline phone in the house. I have her setup on a cheap Tello cell plan with unlimited voice mins for only $10/mo.; paired with this phone system I've reduced her monthly cost tremendously. The only thing to remember is that the cell phone needs to be in the same room as the phone set base station as that is where the Bluetooth signal is paired. Otherwise it works amazingly well, the only noticeable difference is there is no dial-tone when you pick up the handset. You type the number in and press talk and it connects seamlessly. For incoming calls, all handsets ring in the house and announces the number displayed on the caller-ID. Cut the cord and get this for your elderly loved ones!

I'm 75 & have issues with hearing loss, especially when using the phone. I've always purchased Panasonic phones for my home. They are reliable & the sound is good. The sound on this new phone is beyond good, it's the best yet. The Panasonic handset is slim. It's easy to use & easy to see the numbers. I like the block button on the handset! Goodbye SPAM calls! It's easy to set up right out of the box. I haven't set up the cell phone link yet. That's next. I do recommend this nice looking phone system (I bought the 3 handset system, so there's a phone in each of the rooms I use the most). The price is very, very reasonable...one of the reasons I bought it. My best friend just ordered one after seeing mine & hearing me rave about how wonderful it is. Panasonic phone gets 5 stars.

This is an upgraded in every way from our old AT&T cordless phones! The only thing I *thought* was missing, was call screening from the handsets (vs. just at the base) but low and behold, the seller showed me how to program even for that! Here's how... "The phone system supports the call screening feature. You will need to turn it on for each handset by pressing MENU on the desired handset, then the key # and enter code 310. Choose the On option, press SAVE and then the OFF button." Well, I did that on one handset, and it automatically made call screening work on all the handsets! ❤️ That's SUCH a nice feature! The call announce voice is still a bit "computery" which in 2024 you would think they can do a better job at that, but these are still better than our old phones' call announce voice. Overall, very happy with this set!

I got this phone for my mom to replace her other phone. The advanced call blocking feature is AMAZING! Her phone never rings unless the caller dials 1. She’s 88 and was constantly getting annoying calls. The rest of us can still call her with no problems! Highly recommend if your tired of robot calls especially with your parents who still have landlines and are susceptible to scams!
