It doesn't have voicemail. I dont need it, since my telephone provider has it and I can dial in to access it. All the functions work. It's a fairly simple phone with extras like contact storage, speakerphone and mute. It's plastic, but decent. It's black which shows dust. Works like it's supposed to and got it at a good price from Amazon renewed. The one con is it takes 4 AA batteries for full functionality of the phone, but I don't have to replace litium batteries for my cordless phones anymore.

The volume control, sound quality, and battery life of this AT&T corded landline phone is great! It also shows the date and time on the display. If you have caller id service from your telephone company it will show the incoming phone number, very good feature.The display is big. Also This telephone has big buttons. Next this phone comes with a speakerphone/caller I’d/ call waiting. Caller I’d and call waiting will only work if you have these services from your telephone company. This is a good AT&T corded landline telephone.

Update: 5/15/20 - After using this phone for a year, I have raised my overall rating to 5 stars!! This is not a fancy phone, but it gets the job done well at a very low cost. Mount it correctly and you will have a great phone with lots of features, a display that you can easily read from 6 feet away, and sound quality that is excellent.
All I really needed was a caller ID display on a phone in my shop. We get about 8 or 10 robo calls a day, and I just wanted to be able to screen calls without running to another room to see a caller ID. This phone is great for that. The display is clear and the quality of the audio is pretty good. I would have given the phone 5 stars, but the quality of the audio on the speaker phone is not good. Yes, you can tell what someone is saying, but the speakerphone audio quality is poor. If the quality was better, this would have been a 5-star review, but then this would likely have been a $60 to $100 phone. This phone was what I needed.
Update 3/3/19: I forgot to mention that the phone mounts very well on a wall. It has the standard two pin spacing slots on the rear for a wall plate. If you look at the side view photos submitted by people that say the phone does not wall mount, you can see that they are using only one of the two available mounting slots. If the instructions are followed, there is no problem using a wall mount.

I searched a LONG time to find a quality CORDED phone that has speaker, big buttons and easy to use speed dial numbers. My father has cognitive/dexterity problems that progressed to the point he could not dial standard/cell phones well (or remember to keep them charged).
This phone has been a Godsend and has allowed him to make calls when he otherwise would not have been able to.
Beyond ease of use, my dad speaks very softly and both the handset and speaker phone have EXCELLENT microphones. Sometimes it is tough to tell when he has switched from handset to speakerphone.

Grandfather can't use touch screens (neuropathy in fingers), can't hear flip phone speaker through hearing aids, couldn't keep flip phone paired with hearing aids. I bought this for my 88 year old dad who needs a land line phone. I was hoping there was a way to just push 1, 2 or 3 for speed call to us three daughters but it takes about 3 steps to get there. I had to type up instruction and tape them to the phone. It is better than the chinese one I had that felt like if you touched it your finger would go through.
